Good advice. It also helps to recognize those situations in all aspects of life not just during public interviews. If you manage to “not take the bait” life will be much simpler and less stressful.

For the Lakers and their PR team it was a good job doing more then just winning a NBA championship, it was a good job in making the team larger then life in Los Angeles. They didn’t need that much help doing that but they got it. Even if it meant paying big money out of pocket.

Well said. If you want opinion and fluff go to the editorial section. Otherwise I’m reading the news for the information and facts. I think most others would agree including journalist. So a lot of marketing hoopla can be a fatal attraction.
